The Benefits of Calisthenics For Building Muscle Size

A lot of people don’t really believe they can gain muscle size when working with calisthenics. I say false! And the reason, I used to believe this. But after doing some research and now, some self-experimentation, I’m seeing this firsthand. With that said, I’m relatively new to calisthenics training – I also don’t plan on making it my primary method of training. Calisthenics seems to work the body in unison very effectively, so that when I go back to lifting weights – my body will be more accustomed to working with a large amount of muscles on a given lift or exercise, and because of that, be able to pull from a larger resource, and get stronger.
