Every now and then a physical challenge comes along social media that is nothing more than a cute little circus act. This one though, has some merit. The Broomstick Challenge will demand hip mobility, flexibility and core strength in order to execute it. Give it a shot and let me know how you do. Can you get down to the floor and back up without using your hands?

  1. Only problem is when I keep my hands behind my back for more than a couple minutes, my arms start to fall asleep.

    1. Could just be bad circulation, but have you tried Magnesium suppliments? I get sleeping limb syndrome at night and Mags definately helped me and others I know.

  2. I can tell your using a fake broom handle Jeff! Lol
Love your videos! Keep up the good work!

  3. Try that while handcuffed, and 3 Deputies on you as your being tased. Ya I couldn’t do it either, now I’m doing 3 to 5. Learned how to cripwalk though!!

  4. I did it in my living room and my 7 and 5 year old wanted to try. They were WAY better than even Jeff. Ahh to be young again lmao

    1. Lower centre of gravity. It’s like that chair challenge where u bend forward by a wall. Women are able to do more easily then men.

    2. When you have a pair of very short legs and smaller body it is easier to get up. Simple.

  5. Done: video on my page. About the same age too and much heavier. I’ve seen a few people post videos already laying on the ground or not keeping hands clasped. Also doing this without shoes would be easier as I found my shoes sticking to my gym floor.

  6. Jeffs wife- “Jeff would you stop exercising for one fffing minute and just sweep the damn floor!”

  7. Challenge completed. I would say people with neck issues may want to exercise caution. I could see a person with neck issues to feel strain on their neck because when I turned my head sideways I was supporting my weight with my head to get to my knees.

  8. I think Jeff did this the hard core way. I just put my knee underneath my core in fetal position and leveraged myself up. Beginner modification….
