What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear someone say "I want 3D delts?" That question usually makes me wonder whether or not they're working all 3 of their delts. Although the acronym 3D stands for 3 dimensional. When referring to the shoulders it should also mean 3Delts.

You have 3 delts. Anterior, lateral, and posterior. Commonly known as your front, Middle, and rear delt. If You want all 3 of these muscles in your shoulder to pop, you need to be training them. In this video I will be going over things you can do at home to help develop them if you do not have any weights available.

  1. Wow, this is a nice routine ….imma try this tomorrow morning. Thanks Bully Juice

  2. Guys! Try bully’s intense 15 minute shoulder workout. In my opinion, it is perfect. You can even add handstand hold to failure at last :D. Thanks to bully, i am seeing very good results

  3. Thanks for the inspiration. Rear delts are ignored too often and targeting them can be difficult, especially at home with no weights.

Here is another rear delts exercise you can do with just free weights and they work well:
    – take your free weights in each hand and let them hang comfortably at your sides, with your shoulders pushed down and back.
    – turn your wrists so that your palms are facing forward at a 45 degree angle roughly. The weights will sit along your sides and rear.
    – pull the weight up close to your body as high as you can and then hold for 1-2 seconds, and then release but to keep the tension do not fully release.
    * Make sure to focus on only using your rear delts to perform the lift. You will engage your triceps to a lesser degree, but you should feel it in the rear delts. If not, then start with one arm and as you lift keep your other hand on the opposite rear deltoid to gauge the level of engagement.

(This is an alternate to using the barbell for this kind of lift.)

I personally have found this single exercise to be one of the best rear delts exercises and have seen results in short order.

Also be careful when doing shoulder press exercises. After the initial lifting of the weights above your head, your arms should not drop lower than roughly 90 degrees. The reason for this is that you drop all the tension when you do and it falls onto other muscles, which defeats the purpose and lessens your results. You can also potentially injure your shoulders or rotator cuffs, depending on your overall strength and fitness levels. That was only a couple second mention, but in case anyone was no aware, now you have been informed. Lifting light weights will hide this potentially harmful habit.

  4. I’ve seen most of the Body building you tubers giving us way complex and hard exercises….but this is perfect

  5. Hey bully, thinking about buying your program that’s 45 dollars, what does your program focus on because I’m looking for a program that is just lifting?
